The Virus completes the four-part 20mm distance driver series from Axiom Discs. Virus covers the understable end of the stability spectrum for this class, and is best described as a worn-in Impulse. Power throwers will find it useful for tailwinds, rollers, and extreme turnover lines. It will be most useful for average to low powered players looking to extend their lines and shape long drives. For beginners and early players, the Virus will truly be the least resistant distance driver from MVP or Axiom, and yield the most usable lines. The Axiom 20mm distance driver class includes the Fireball, Wrath, Insanity, and Virus. Each model complements an MVP 20mm distance driver, mimicking a ''worn-in'' flight best characterized by a more gentle fade. The Virus continues this trend with its flight profile being similar to a gentler-fading Impulse.
